The diversity and ecological significance of Bryophytes in Yuexiu Park and Haizhu wetland in Guangzhou

苔藓是地球上的先锋植物，是城市绿化的重要部分，具有多种生态功能，可作为环境检测的指标植物。本研究观察和记录越秀公园和海珠湿地里苔藓的生长环境及生长状态；采集样品，进行分类学鉴定，比较种类、生长环境的异同。发现海珠湿地有苔类1种，藓类10种；越秀公园有苔类1种，藓类8种。同时发现两个公园出现一些未收录在《广东苔藓志》中的苔藓。本次研究为观察广州市区苔藓提供新的视野，为了解城市自然与生态提供媒介。 

Bryophytes are pioneer plan in earth and important component of urban landscaping. Bryophytes possess various ecological functions and can serve as indicator plant for environmental monitoring. In this research, I record the growing habitat and growth condition of Bryophytes in Yuexiu Park and Haizhu wetland, taxonomy identify the collected samples, compare the difference between the species and growth environment of Bryophytes. I collected one kind of liverworts and 10 kinds of mosses in Yuexiu Park, while one kind of liverworts and 8 kinds of mosses in Haizhu wetland was recorded. I also recorded some Bryophyte which are not listed in the book of Bryophyte Flora of GuangDong. This research will provide new insight for Bryophytes research and promote comprehension the natural environment in city.
